Analysis of chest wall elevation after the Nuss procedure using 3D body scanning technique in patients with pectus excavatum

This study used non-invasive 3D body scanning to quantify chest wall elevation in 11 pediatric patients following the Nuss procedure for pectus excavatum. Results showed mean elevation of 38.6mm at the deepest point with indirect lifting effects across the anterior chest, demonstrating the technique's value for objective surgical outcome assessment.
