Lymphatic malformations adjacent to the airway in neonates: Risk factors for outcome

Retrospective study of 10 neonates with lymphatic malformations near the airway identifies bilateral disease and >180° tracheal involvement as significant risk factors for airway compromise. Patients requiring treatment in the neonatal period showed poor response to sclerotherapy, with half requiring experimental systemic therapy.
