Laparoscopic staged management of high intrabdominal testis: A prospective randomized study

This randomized trial compared two staged laparoscopic approaches for high intra-abdominal undescended testis in 45 pediatric patients. Both Fowler-Stephens and traction orchiopexy achieved comparable scrotal positioning success rates, but traction technique showed superior outcomes with zero testicular atrophy versus three cases in the Fowler-Stephens group at six months.
