Hypospadias and the Use of the Ages and Stages Questionnaire to Evaluate Neurodevelopmental Status of Boys with Hypospadias

This study found boys with hypospadias had significantly impaired communication, gross motor, and personal-social skills compared to controls, suggesting shared etiologic factors between hypospadias and neurologic impairment. Authors recommend routine neurodevelopmental screening using ASQ for all hypospadias patients to enable early intervention.
