Functional Fecal and Urinary Outcomes after Sacrococcygeal Mass Resection in Pediatric Patients

Retrospective study of 75 pediatric patients who underwent sacrococcygeal mass resection examining long-term bowel and bladder function. Patients managed through a multidisciplinary clinic showed significantly better continence outcomes (82% fecal, 87% urinary) compared to standard care (59% both), with improved validated scoring across multiple assessment tools.
