Head Circumference in Infants Undergoing Foker Process for Long-Gap Esophageal Atresia Repair: Call for Attention

Study of 26 infants post-LGEA repair shows normal head circumference growth despite reduced brain volumes on MRI, challenging head circumference as a reliable proxy for brain size in this surgical population. Findings suggest need for direct neuroimaging assessment in high-risk infants.
