Ten-year experience with staged management of pectus carinatum: Results and lessons learned

Ten-year retrospective study of 695 pectus carinatum patients demonstrates staged management approach with bracing as first-line treatment achieving 40% success rate, guided by pressure of correction measurements. Surgical intervention required in 21% of cases, with open repair showing superior outcomes compared to Abramson procedure which had 48% revision rate.
