Factors Associated With 5- and 10-Year Survival After Intestinal Transplantation in Infants and Children

Retrospective study of 86 pediatric intestinal transplant patients (2003-2013) found 5- and 10-year graft survival rates of 71% and 65%. Anatomic intestinal failure showed superior outcomes versus functional failure, while GVHD, PTLD, and donor-specific antibodies negatively impacted survival.
