Repeat serial transverse enteroplasty procedure (reSTEP): Is it worth it?

Retrospective study of 24 patients demonstrates that repeat STEP procedures achieve similar outcomes to single STEP operations, including improved enteral tolerance and reduced infection rates, though enteral autonomy rates remain modest (37.5%). Results support reSTEP use when indicated, with caution in young gastroschisis patients.
