Single-site laparoscopic burnia for inguinal hernias in girls: comparison with open repair

Retrospective study of 198 pediatric female patients comparing single-site laparoscopic burnia (sutureless hernia repair) with traditional open repair. Burnia demonstrated comparable safety and operative times for bilateral repairs, though unilateral procedures took slightly longer, with no complications or recurrences in either group.
