Ultrasonographic diagnosis, classification, and treatment of cervical lymphatic malformation in paediatric patients: a retrospective study

Retrospective analysis of 320 pediatric cervical lymphatic malformation cases demonstrates ultrasound's diagnostic utility and classification by cyst size (macrocystic, microcystic, mixed). Interventional sclerotherapy proved effective as first-line treatment in 81% of patients, with complications including hemorrhage and infection occurring in approximately 20-25% of cases.
