Association between clinical and tumor features with postoperative thyroglobulin in pediatric papillary thyroid cancer

Study of 93 pediatric patients post-thyroidectomy identifies high-risk stratification and elevated neck uptake as independent predictors of increased preablation thyroglobulin levels. Nearly half of patients showed s-Tg >10 ng/mL, suggesting these factors may help identify children requiring intensified postoperative surveillance for residual disease.
