Single balloon enteroscopy in children for evaluation of small bowel diseases in children: A large, tertiary centre study

Retrospective study of 189 single balloon enteroscopy procedures in 174 pediatric patients demonstrates high diagnostic yield (67.2%) and safety profile for evaluating small bowel pathology. Most common indications were chronic abdominal pain and GI bleeding, with ileal/jejunal ulcers being the predominant finding.
