Characterization of Mesenchymal Stem Cells in Patients with Esophageal Atresia

Study demonstrates successful isolation and expansion of mesenchymal stem cells from small adipose tissue samples in esophageal atresia patients for potential tissue engineering applications. Patient-derived cells showed viability on tubular scaffolds with distinct cytokine profiles, supporting feasibility of autologous regenerative approaches.
