Subcutaneous Analgesic System versus Epidural for Post-Operative Pain Control in Surgical Pediatric Oncology Patients

Retrospective study comparing subcutaneous analgesic systems to epidural catheters in 101 pediatric oncology patients after open tumor resection surgery. SAS provided equivalent pain control with faster ambulation and return to diet, fewer device complications, and reduced discharge narcotic use compared to epidural.
