Long-term core outcomes of patients with simple gastroschisis

Retrospective study of 124 simple gastroschisis patients shows initial growth restriction normalizes by age three, with low rates of surgical complications but common long-term GERD and constipation requiring medical management. Parent-reported quality of life exceeds healthy controls, with 100% survival and excellent functional outcomes.
