What is the appropriate aganglionic bowel length on contrast enema for attempting single stage transanal endorectal pull-through in Hirschsprung disease?

This study establishes criteria for selecting Hirschsprung disease patients suitable for single-stage transanal endorectal pull-through based on contrast enema findings. Results show aganglionic length under 52 cm and patient age over 10 months predict successful single-stage procedure with minimal need for laparoscopic assistance.
