Fluorescence imaging in pediatric surgery: State-of-the-art and future perspectives

This systematic review examines the emerging use of fluorescence-guided surgery in pediatric populations, analyzing 21 studies across tumor resection, biliary/urogenital imaging, and perfusion assessment. While clinical evidence remains limited, FGS demonstrates significant potential for improving surgical precision in hepatoblastoma resection and real-time anatomical delineation in pediatric patients.
