Implication of Image-Defined Risk Factors for the Extent of Surgical Resection and Clinical Outcome in Patients with Pelvic Neuroblastoma

This retrospective study of 11 pelvic neuroblastoma cases demonstrates that image-defined risk factors (IDRFs) predict surgical resectability, perioperative complications, and local recurrence risk. Patients without IDRFs achieved complete resection, while those with IDRFs faced incomplete removal and higher complication rates, supporting IDRF use as a prognostic tool for surgical planning.
