Prognostic significance of MYCN related genes in pediatric neuroblastoma: a study based on TARGET and GEO datasets

Bioinformatics analysis of TARGET and GEO datasets identified eight MYCN-associated genes (ARMC6, DCTPP1, EIF4G1, ELOVL6, FBL, PRMT1, E2F1, RPS19) with significant prognostic value in pediatric neuroblastoma. EIF4G1 emerged as an independent prognostic marker, with combined MYCN/EIF4G1 assessment providing superior risk stratification compared to MYCN status alone.
