Study examining the rare co-occurrence of Hirschsprung's disease and anorectal malformations in 2.5% of ARM cases. Early diagnostic indicators include bowel caliber changes during initial surgery and nonfunctioning stomas, with delayed diagnosis leading to complications including fecal fistulas and wound dehiscence.
