Congenital diaphragmatic hernia presenting with symptoms within the first day of life; outcomes from a non-ECMO centre in Denmark

This retrospective study from a Danish non-ECMO center reports outcomes for 95 CDH infants presenting within 24 hours of birth between 1998-2015. The 28-day mortality rate was 21.1%, comparable to ECMO centers, with prenatal diagnosis and APGAR scores significantly associated with survival.
