Robotic Excision of Choledochal Cyst with Hepaticoduodenostomy (HD): Report of HD Technique, Initial Experience, and Early Outcome

Retrospective study of 19 pediatric patients demonstrates feasibility of robot-assisted choledochal cyst excision with hepaticoduodenostomy, emphasizing distal D2 anastomosis technique to prevent duodenogastric reflux. Mean operative time was 170 minutes with median 2.5-year follow-up showing only one patient with positive reflux on conservative management.
