Management of neonates with right-sided aortic arch and esophageal atresia: International survey on IPEG AND ESPES members´ experience

International survey of 144 pediatric surgeons across 23 countries reveals evolving practice patterns for EA/TEF repair in neonates with right-sided aortic arch. While thoracotomy remains preferred by 54%, thoracoscopic approaches are increasingly favored (46%), with most surgeons willing to attempt left-sided thoracoscopy even when RAA is known preoperatively.
