Congenital duodenal obstruction in the UK: a population-based study.

UK population-based study of 110 congenital duodenal obstruction cases reveals an incidence of 1.22 per 10,000 live births, with 69% having associated anomalies. Duodenoduodenostomy was the primary repair method (76%), though postoperative feeding strategies varied significantly. Short-term outcomes were favorable with 3% re-operation rate and two unrelated deaths within 28 days.
