Gastric pull-up by the retrosternal route for esophageal replacement: Feasibility in a limited-resource scenario

Prospective study of 22 pediatric patients demonstrates safe and feasible esophageal replacement using retrosternal gastric pull-up in resource-constrained settings. All patients survived with no graft loss, minor anastomotic leaks resolved spontaneously, and outcomes matched those reported in high-resource centers.
