Response to correspondence regarding laparoscopic hernia repair outcomes, clarifying that reported complications (infections, reoperations, granuloma) occurred in both surgical groups with no laparoscopy-specific adverse events. Technical modifications using 2mm Maryland dissector were occasionally needed for challenging anatomy.
