Management of perinatal testicular torsion: experience of two tertiary centers

Retrospective study of 32 newborns with perinatal testicular torsion across two tertiary centers (2000-2019) found salvage rates near zero, with 30/32 requiring orchidectomy. Authors recommend urgent bilateral exploration in multidisciplinary centers to attempt ipsilateral salvage and prevent rare contralateral torsion.
