Post-renal transplant urolithiasis in children: an increasingly diagnosed complication: a retrospective cohort study.

This retrospective study documents increasing incidence of urolithiasis in pediatric renal transplant recipients, affecting 5.6% of patients over two decades with higher rates in recent years. All eight cases occurred in males, presented with varied symptoms including hematuria and pain, and were successfully managed with cystolithotripsy and citrate supplementation without graft loss.
