Pediatric Extremity Vascular Trauma: It Matters Where it is Treated.

This retrospective study of 702 pediatric patients with extremity vascular injuries demonstrates that ACS-verified trauma centers achieve significantly better limb salvage rates compared to non-verified hospitals. The findings highlight the importance of treating these rare injuries at designated trauma centers with appropriate pediatric expertise and resources.
