Deferoxamine preconditioning activated hypoxia-inducible factor-1α and MyD88-dependent Toll-like receptor 4 signaling in intestinal stem cells

Study demonstrates that deferoxamine preconditioning activates intestinal stem cells through coordinated upregulation of HIF-1α and TLR4-MyD88 signaling pathways. Inhibitor experiments confirm HIF-1α and MyD88-dependent mechanisms mediate ISC activation, with peak molecular expression at 6 hours post-treatment.
