Management of post-circumcision necrosis of the penis: the medicolegal aspect

Retrospective analysis of 24 pediatric patients who developed penile necrosis following circumcision in Turkey (2003-2013). Primary causes included monopolar cautery use (41.6%), post-operative infection (33.3%), and compartment syndrome from dressing (12.5%), with treatment approaches ranging from surgical intervention to hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
