A novel image-based system for risk stratification in patients with desmoplastic small round cell tumor

Retrospective study of 130 DSRCT patients developing an image-based risk stratification system using liver involvement and ascites as predictors. Intermediate-risk patients showed 61% 5-year survival versus 16% for high-risk and 8% for very high-risk groups, providing clinicians with an evidence-based tool for prognostic assessment at diagnosis.
