One-year outcomes of infants born with congenital diaphragmatic hernia: a national population cohort study.

This UK/Ireland population study tracked 184 infants with congenital diaphragmatic hernia to one year, finding 75% survival overall and 93% post-surgical survival. Patch repair was associated with higher chylothorax rates and longer hospital stays compared to primary closure, particularly with synthetic materials.
