Thoracoscopic repair of diaphragmatic eventration in children: a comparison of two repair techniques

Retrospective study of 14 pediatric patients compares two thoracoscopic techniques for diaphragmatic eventration repair. The pleated suture method demonstrated significantly shorter operative time (77 vs 117 minutes) compared to interrupted suturing, with comparable safety and no recurrences during follow-up.
