Ingestion of multiple magnets in children

Retrospective study of 9 children with multiple magnet ingestion demonstrates that two-thirds required surgical removal due to lack of migration or suspected complications, while asymptomatic patients were safely managed with serial radiographic observation over 2-3 days. All patients recovered without adverse outcomes.
