Retrospective study of 54 CDH patients reveals 37% developed acute kidney injury, strongly associated with larger defects, ECMO support, and nephrotoxic medication exposure. AKI correlated with prolonged hospitalization and increased mortality, suggesting modifiable risk factors that warrant closer monitoring in this vulnerable population.
