Surgical management of locally-advanced and metastatic hepatoblastoma

This review examines surgical strategies for advanced-stage hepatoblastoma, including locally invasive tumors and metastatic disease. The authors discuss complex hepatic resections versus liver transplantation for primary tumors involving multiple lobes or major vessels, and address management of pulmonary metastases.
