Potential Benefits of Laparoscopic Repair of Duodenal Atresia: Insights from a Retrospective Comparative Study

Retrospective study of 41 neonates with congenital duodenal obstruction found that laparoscopic repair resulted in faster return to full enteral feeds (7 vs 11 days), reduced parenteral nutrition duration (5 vs 11.5 days), and half the postoperative opioid requirement compared to open surgery, despite longer operative times.
