Thoracoscopic Resection of Congenital Lung Malformation: Looking for the Right Preoperative Assessment

Study comparing MRI and CT for preoperative assessment of congenital lung malformations in 20 infants. MRI during spontaneous sleep showed high sensitivity (100% for CPAM, 77% for BPS) and excellent concordance with surgical findings, supporting its use as initial screening before confirmatory CT and thoracoscopic resection.
