Concurrent Hirschsprung’s disease and anorectal malformation: a systematic review

Systematic review of 126 cases examining the rare co-occurrence of Hirschsprung's disease and anorectal malformation, found in approximately 2% of ARM patients. Twenty percent of cases were associated with genetic syndromes including Currarino, Down, and Cat eye syndromes, with most showing short-segment aganglionosis.
