Development of a Decision Support Tool in Pediatric Differences/Disorders of Sex Development

This multi-stage study developed and evaluated a web-based decision support tool to improve shared decision-making between clinicians and parents of children with disorders of sex development. The research identified key barriers including provider overconfidence in existing practices and parent misperceptions about treatment options, highlighting the need for better integration into clinical workflow.
