Gonocyte transformation in congenital undescended testes: what is the role of inhibin-B in cell death?

Study examining whether inhibin-B levels influence gonocyte cell death in infants with undescended testes during minipuberty. Testicular biopsies from 10 boys undergoing orchidopexy showed no significant difference in apoptosis markers between normal and low inhibin-B groups, suggesting inhibin-B does not regulate gonocyte transformation.
