A new approach using image analysis to assess pulmonary hypoplasia in the fetal lamb diaphragmatic hernia model

Fetal lamb study demonstrates that bronchial area measurements via image analysis correlate strongly with total lung volume in diaphragmatic hernia, suggesting bronchography-based metrics could assess pulmonary hypoplasia severity. Findings may enable improved prenatal MRI evaluation of lung development in CDH patients.
