A less invasive technique for delayed bladder exstrophy closure without fascia closure and immobilisation: can the need for prolonged anaesthesia be avoided?

A modified surgical approach for bladder exstrophy closure eliminates fascia closure and postoperative immobilization, reducing operative trauma while maintaining successful outcomes. In 36 patients, this technique avoided opioid use, shortened recovery, and produced no major complications over 37-month follow-up.
