Pediatric earlobe keloids: Outcomes and patterns of recurrence

Study of 94 pediatric patients with earlobe keloids over 10 years shows 28.7% recurrence rate following surgical excision with or without steroid injection. African American patients and younger age groups showed slightly higher recurrence rates, with median time to recurrence of 23 months.
