Gravitational Autoreposition for Staged Closure of Omphaloceles

GRAVITAS (gravitational autoreposition sutures) offers a staged closure approach for large omphaloceles when primary closure is not feasible. In this 21-year retrospective study of 12 patients, isolated omphaloceles achieved secondary closure in 4 days on average, while complex cases with cardiac or pulmonary comorbidities required longer management with acceptable long-term outcomes.
