Diagnosis and treatment of pancreatoblastoma in children: a retrospective study in a single pediatric center

Retrospective analysis of 21 pediatric pancreatoblastoma cases (median age 4 years) at Beijing Children's Hospital demonstrates that complete surgical resection combined with neoadjuvant chemotherapy achieves long-term survival in initially unresectable tumors. Elevated AFP serves as both diagnostic marker and disease monitor, with 13/21 patients disease-free at median 53-month follow-up.
