Development of a new reproductive tissue cryopreservation clinical service for children: the Oxford programme

The Oxford programme established a phased NHS fertility preservation service for children at high risk of treatment-related infertility, initially serving local oncology patients then expanding nationally. Using existing multidisciplinary resources and HTA-licensed tissue banking, the service safely delivers gonadal tissue cryopreservation close to patients' homes while seeking sustainable national funding.
