Risk factors of hepatic artery thrombosis in pediatric deceased donor liver transplantation

This retrospective study of 104 pediatric deceased donor liver transplants identified donor age under 8.5 months, graft weight under 190g, and low graft-to-recipient weight ratio as independent risk factors for hepatic artery thrombosis. HAT significantly reduced graft survival and increased biliary complications, though recipient survival remained comparable between groups.
